1.  Find a glass container

2.  Fill with a layer of clean stone (about 1")

3.  Next add a layer of charcoal (about 1/2 to 1")

4.  Finally add a layer of clean potting soil (about 3")

5.  Plant small plants or rooted cutting.  Use long handled spoons or sticks to reach into container.

6.  After planting cover exposed soil with decorative stone, marbles, and/or moss.  Add other ornaments such as stones, shells, waterproof toys, or figurines.

7.  Water until soil is moist

8.  Place terrarium in indirect light

To care for the terrarium:
Add water if necessary but do not over water.  Prune plants to keep them the right size for the container.
